Giving Back to the Community

Each year, we partner with a local animal-focused organization to donate lightly-used collars and leashes, as well as 10% of the profits from the past quarter's sales. Our current charitable partner is Dogs with Wings.

Dogs with Wings
is a registered charitable organization that has been providing highly trained Assistance Dogs for individuals with disabilities since their inception in 1996. They are governed by a volunteer Board of Directors, and rely solely on major sponsorships and donations to operate. Dogs with Wings began with training Guide Dogs for the visually impaired and as the organization grew, they added their Service Dog program in 2003, Autism Service Dog program in 2007, and both the Facility Service Dog and Companion Dog programs in 2009. They are accredited by Assistance Dogs International (ADI), and are members of the Canadian Association of Guide & Assistance Dog Schools (CAGADS).

We chose Dogs with Wings as our charitable partner for their ongoing work both in providing impeccable care and training to the animals themselves, but also for their work to improve integration and independence for individuals with disabilities. For families who live with disabilities, acceptance and independence is priceless.
